PIRU, Calif. – Rancho Camulos Museum will host its Spring Plein Air Artists Day on Saturday,
May 23, offering visitors a full day of painting, sketching and photography across the
historic grounds of the National Historic Landmark, according to a press release
published May 7 by SCVNews.com.

The event runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum, located at 5164 E. Telegraph Road in
Piru. Admission is $35, which includes morning refreshments, lunch and guided tours of
the rancho’s gardens, orchards and historic structures.

Organizers describe the day as an opportunity for artists and photographers to work in a
setting known for its preserved 19th-century architecture and agricultural landscapes.
The museum notes that the event is open to all skill levels, including those who simply
want to enjoy the scenery.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own art supplies, cameras or sketch
materials. Gates will open promptly at 8 a.m., and attendees may explore the grounds
at their own pace between scheduled tours.

Registration is available through the museum’s website.
