Newhall School District has confirmed that longtime district administrator Chad Rose will step into the role of Assistant Superintendent of Business Services beginning July 1, 2026.
Rose’s appointment marks the latest step in a career spanning more than three decades in public education, including 21 years with Newhall School District. His previous roles include serving as a site principal at Stevenson Ranch and Meadows, leading instructional technology and learning‑recovery initiatives, and later directing instruction, assessment, and accountability.
District leadership noted that Rose’s experience supporting instructional improvement, technology integration, and data‑driven planning positions him to oversee the district’s financial operations, budgeting processes, and long‑range resource planning. The appointment was included as part of the district’s administrative updates for the 2026–27 school year.
Rose’s transition continues a multi‑year pattern of internal leadership development within the district, reflecting Newhall’s emphasis on promoting experienced administrators who have served in multiple instructional and operational capacities.
