CHP Ventura Communications Center logged four incidents on Tuesday, including a traffic hazard, a no‑injury collision, and two construction‑related assists. All incidents were cleared without major impacts.
The first report came at 6:18 p.m. when officers assisted with construction activity on Santa Claus Lane Court in the Carpinteria area. A second construction‑related assist was logged at 6:36 p.m. on Valentine Road in Ventura.
At 7:24 p.m., CHP responded to a no‑injury traffic collision on northbound State Route 1 near Tonga Street, in front of Neptune’s Net. No injuries were reported.
The final incident of the evening occurred at 7:37 p.m., when a traffic hazard was reported on the northbound Rose Avenue onramp connecting to southbound U.S. 101 in Ventura.
