The California Highway Patrol’s Ventura Communications Center recorded four traffic collisions this afternoon across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. The incidents occurred between 3:21 p.m. and 4:21 p.m., according to the agency’s live incident board.
The first collision was reported at 3:21 p.m. on eastbound State Route 118, west of Princeton Avenue in the Moorpark area. CHP listed the incident as requiring medical response.
A second collision followed at 4:16 p.m. on southbound U.S. 101 near the State Beaches area in Ventura. No injuries were reported.
At 4:18 p.m., CHP logged another collision on northbound U.S. 101 at North Las Positas Road in Santa Barbara, with medical response requested.
The fourth incident was reported at 4:21 p.m. on southbound State Route 23 at North Tierra Rejada Road in Moorpark. CHP also listed this collision as requiring medical response.
These were the only traffic collisions listed by the Ventura Communications Center during this period.
