A woman was hospitalized early Sunday after firefighters rescued her from a vehicle following a crash in Canyon Country, according to officials.
Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded at 4:11 a.m. to reports of a collision on Mandan Street near Soledad Canyon Road. When they arrived, they found the woman trapped inside her vehicle after it struck multiple parked cars.
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews were dispatched at 4:09 a.m. and performed the extrication. Fire officials confirmed one patient was transported to the hospital. The incident was cleared at 5:18 a.m.
A witness on scene, Dillon Foster of SCV Scanner, provided first aid before firefighters arrived, according to The Signal. Deputies said there was no indication of DUI, and officials could not confirm whether a medical issue contributed to the crash.
